I hate to be the one to say it, but obesity is the cause of death in of Americans millions each year, far less than the number of people killed by terrorists. Yes, maybe that is a sensitive topic and a bold statement. But take a look at the numbers. Lets face facts, America, your not taking care of yourself. And if we don’t take care of ourselves, then who will? Watching fitness workouts on the biggest loser won’t help… your just sitting and watching other people do the work. Get off your butt and take a minute or two to think about what you value in life. What do you want for yourself in the next 2 years? The next 10 years? What about 20?

I’m not prepared to be the person who complains about my backache, or my knees hurting when I walk up stairs. I want to be able to take a ski vacation and have the time of my life. I want to enjoy life. And you should too. Find yourself a fitness workout and stick to it! When you don’t feel like doing it, ask yourself if its worth losing your mobility over. Oh, sure, it may seem insignificant, but lets be honest, consistency is the key. We all know that once the exceptions start being made that it’s all going to be happening a lot more often than originally planned. Doing a quick little fitness workout, even if it has to be cut short, is far more beneficial than doing nothing. Remember, doing something, just anything, is always better for your health than doing nothing. If you don’t have time to do your morning jog, then park extra far from work, or get off the bus a few stops earlier and speed walk! Where there’s a will, there is a way!
